Edward Christopher Sheeran was born on 17, February 1991, in Halifax, West Yorkshire, England. When he was four years old his family moved to Framingham in Suffolk where he grew up with his brother and attended Thomas Mills High School.
When Ed was four years old he used to sing for the local church choir, at the age of eleven he learned to play guitar. He began writing own his songs when he was attending Thomas Mills High School. He was accepted at National Youth Theater when he was a teenager.
Sheeran dated Scottish musician Nina Nesbitt. They broke up in 2012, after that Ed dated Athina Adrelos from 2014 till 2015. Since 2015 Ed, has been in a relationship with his childhood friend Cherry Seaborn. The couple announced that they got engaged in January 2018 and got married in a secret ceremony after a year.
In 2004 Ed started to record his music and released his first independent album “Spinning man”. He was a friend of his fellow singer Passenger since he was 15 years old and used to play in the same gig in Cambridge. In 2005 he released his first EP and over the course of the next three years he released he went on to release two albums.
In 2008 he moved to London and there he began to perform for the small venues and gain quite a fan following for himself.
